VIRTUAL SIG MOBILITY MEETING 2020

Starting on 16/10/2020
At @ HOME

Dear SIG mobility colleagues,

The outbreak of the coronavirus and the uncertainty about the future development of the pandemic has made us change our original plans for the upcoming SIG mobility meeting, which was to take place in Bilbao in Oct 2020. The current plan therefore is to hold completely new format a virtual SIG mobility meeting in 2020 and meet in person for the SIG mobility Bilbao in Oct 2021.

We believe that change brings with it the opportunity to explore new or different ways of functioning. With this vision, but also focusing on maintaining the high-quality standards of our educational and networking yearly event, we would like to invite you to the Virtual SIG Mobility Meeting 2020: "Overcoming Challenges and Creating Opportunities in MS rehabilitation".

The virtual format could facilitate the attendance of old and new colleagues as there will not be any travel or accommodation expenses. We are working on a formula that would provide the opportunity to learn, interact and share clinical and research experiences. Moreover, we would like to develop a program that fits with your working and personal schedule; and of course, would be of your interest.

A first proposal could be to dedicate a part of the meeting to share your experience or case studies with digital therapy during COVID times both in clinical practice, education, or research. In addition, a second part of the meeting can be dedicated towards a specific topic you might have in mind, an opportunity to present your work and results with fellow SIG mobility members.

Your feedback and suggestions are essential to build the Virtual SIG Mobility meeting program.
