PhD SESSION AT THE ANNUAL CONFERENCE

Dear RIMS members,

This year, a new PhD session will be included in RIMS’ annual conference on 27th of November 2021. The aim of this special session is to network, to share PhD’s’ work, to share knowledge and to lay a foundation for potential new working groups.  We, Valeria Bergamaschi (Italy) and  Laurits Taul Madsen (Denmark), will coordinate and chair this session. More details about this interactive session will soon be published on the RIMS conference website.

In order to know each other in an easier way before the meeting we have prepared a questionnaire and we would like to request all PhD students to respond it (whether or not participating to the PhD session in November).

HERE you can find the link of the questionnaire to complete as a PhD student or to share among your PhD students.

We are looking forward to meeting you in November 2021!

SIG Bladder, Bowel & Sexuality

Is looking for a new chair. See the letter of Sara.

Dear all,
How are you? Hope all for the best!
I'm Sara Rinaldi, intermin chair of SIG bladder bowel and sexual disorders.  Our chair Doreen, unfortunately, for various reasons left the position of chair of our SIG. So we need to find some colleges to cover all SIG position for RIMS rules.  Our group is a very active group of people, who meet twice a year, once during the RIMS annual meeting and a second time, called in between SIG-meeting, which is defined by the group. We are a group with a various professional figures , always very participatory on professional discussions, discussion points and projects to be carried out together. The cornerstone of our group is: together. But unfortunately, I cannot cover both positions alone, chair and co-chair.

So I'm here to ask for your help.
We are looking for someone who can help me and take up one of the two positions (chair or co-chair) and therefore be able to give a future to our group.  The commitment is very limited in time, a minimum greater before the two meetings, but together we can do everything! Especially because Piet and the RIMS secretariat are always very present in helping us in our work. Your professional background is not that important, everyone who is competent in this field and very good in working together!

I wait for you!
The SIG Bladder, Bowel and Sexual disorders has still many wishes to make reality! So, if you are interesting please write to: sara.rinaldi@aism.it before september 26th 2021.
