In the present call, one project will be granted € 15 000.

The programme aims to facilitate collaboration between RIMS members from different centers and countries in the domain of MS rehabilitation. Both projects regarding best practice (e.g., development of guidelines or educational programmes) and research are welcomed.

RIMS Fellowship Exchange Programme (RFEP)

The next deadline for the fellowship exchange programme is approaching. Please send your application on December 1st 2016 at the latest to secretariat@eurims.org. In the current call, two fellows can be refunded up to € 1.000 each.

The fellowship is available to young European professionals, in order to facilitate their training in rehabilitation related to Multiple Sclerosis among RIMS member centres. The goal of the programme is to promote the multidisciplinary approach to rehabilitation in MS and to encourage the exchange of information and professional growth for those working in the field of MS. There are two dates for applications yearly (June and December).

RIMS Grant Programme (RFEP)

The deadline for the RIMS Grant Programme is approaching. Please send your application by Tuesday January 10th 2017 the latest to secretariat@eurims.org.

The program aims to facilitate collaboration between RIMS members from different centers and countries in the domain of MS rehabilitation. Only applications involving a minimum of three RIMS members from different institutions of three different countries will be considered.

In the present call, one project will be granted € 15,000.

RIMS is delighted to invite you to Barcelona for its 22nd Annual Conference. The conference takes place May 4-6, 2017, and will be organised in partnership with the MS Centre of Catalonia (Cemcat).

The RIMS conference is the main European event for healthcare professionals, researchers and patient representatives to share their knowledge and experiences, and collaborate on topics related to rehabilitation in Multiple Sclerosis.

We look forward to welcoming rehabilitation physicians and neurologists, nurses and therapists (e.g. exercise physiologists, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, psychologists, neuropsychologists, social workers, speech and language therapists) and all professionals involved or interested in MS rehabilitation research and practice.

This year, the conference main theme is ‘Shaping the Future of MS Rehabilitation’, and covers four areas: Empowerment and Social Participation, Innovative Outcome Measures, Innovative Rehabilitation Approaches, and Employment.

The meeting will offer teaching courses, plenary sessions, round-tables, free communications, poster sessions, network events & exhibition space and industry sponsored symposia.
