Dear colleagues,

Only one week to go until the start of the RIMS Annual Conference, "Crossing the Interface to Explore New Possibilities", taking place from June 20-22, 2019! 

An updated programme can be found on the RIMS website.


LATE AND ONSITE REGISTRATION

Please be aware there are still a few places left! Registration should be done online via the registration tool available on the website. RIMS members can register at a reduced rate!

Onsite registration for the Nurse Training Programme, Teaching Courses, SIG meetings and the PhD session or for the full Annual Conference is also possible, please come see us at the Welcome & Hospitality desk:

  • Teaching course on 'Falls in MS'
  • Teaching course on 'Upper Extremity & Modern Technology'
  • PhD Student Session
  • Nurse Training Programme

All scheduled for Thursday, June 20. These courses can be added to your Conference registration, but please be informed that RIMS also offers you the possibility to sign up for a teaching course only (without booking a ticket for the entire Conference).

 

ACCREDITATION

We are happy to announce that the RIMS Annual Conference received 14 European CME credits (ECMEC) from the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME). Please find below the breakdown of ECMEC's per day:

            20.06.2019      4 credits
            21.06.2019      5 credits
            22.06.2019      5 credits

The EACCME awards ECMEC's on the basis on 1 ECMEC for one hour of CME with a maximum of 8 ECMEC's per day. Each participant can only receive the number of credits he/she is entitled to according to his/her actual participation at the event once he/she has completed the feedback form.

 

We look forward to welcoming rehabilitation physicians and neurologists, nurses and therapists (e.g. exercise physiologists, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, psychologists, neuropsychologists, social workers, speech and language therapists) and all professionals involved or interested in MS rehabilitation research and practice.

The Organising and Scientific Committee of the 23rd Annual RIMS Conference, which took place from Thursday 31 May to Saturday 2 June 2018 in the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam, is very proud to announce that 405 participants from 30 countries were registered for the Conference.

This conference about "MS Rehabilitation across the livespan" gave all the attendees the opportunity to interact with healthcare professionals, researchers and patient representatives sharing knowledge and experiences on topics related to rehabilitation in Multiple Sclerosis.
